The Victorian Council of Social Service has been funded by the Victorian Government to deliver two new traineeship programs:
- The Discover Opportunity Innovative Traineeship Program for the Western Melbourne and Gippsland regions, funded by the Department of Education and Training
- The Unlimited Potential Community Traineeship Pilot Program for young people aged 15-24 living in the Hume, Bendigo and Dandenong regions, funded by Jobs Victoria.
Both programs are working to address the increasing demand for qualified community services workers. Click the program for your region below to learn more.
Discover Opportunity is led by VCOSS with funding from the Department of Education and Training, and delivered in partnership with Uniting Vic Tas and Wellways. Evaluation of the project will be conducted by the Future Social Service Institute.
Unlimited Potential is led by VCOSS with funding from Jobs Victoria, and in partnership with Youth Projects, Access Australia Group, TaskForce Community Agency, MAS Experience and the Future Social Service Institute.
